The organization "Get a Life... Childcare" specializes in providing for the needs of children and families of parents living with chronic or terminal illness. Our organization is the only one of its kind in the United States and was recently recognized by the California State Capitol for outstanding contribution to child care. Please go to the Get a Life... Childcare website www.getalifechildcare.org and view the episode of the Emmy award winning PBS series "A Place of our Own" featuring our wonderful children. There you can learn about our extraordinary foundation and vital mission. Our hope is that you will decide to help us with donations in order to open our new center in West L.A. near Culver City.  Our grand opening is January 5th!  

Tax deductible donations can be made at our website (via Paypal) and for new or gently used items please contact us at 323 829-1724. No donation is too small or too large and all are so very appreciated !

*Playground equipment- Large Play sets, Trikes, "ride-um" toys, Playhouse, 

*Rubber matting/Rubber mulch

*Indoor furnishings- 2 Large Lakeshore tables, Chairs, 2 Chalkboards, 3 Large Lakeshore Rugs, Play kitchen, Train table & trains, Wood blocks w/ cabinet.

*Plants for our garden.

*Arts & Craft Supplies
