Summer Cabin Reunion

This note to to let everyone know about the Summer Cabin Reunion.  The dates for this year are August 8th and 9th.  Wow, what a great time we had last year and I certainly hope we can have another great turnout.  If you notice that I have missed someone please forward it to them and also let me know so I can include them in any future e-mails.

Emily the Graduate!

Emily is officially a graduate!!!  Yesterday she completed her first year of Pre-school!  This year was filled with lots of new activities such as Riding the City Bus, a wonderful Christmas pageant, a Mother’s Day Tea and meeting lots of new friends.

Nick's Surgery

I just want to let everyone know that Nick had his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in both ears this past Friday.  He spent one night in the hospital and is now home recovering.  He has done great and complains of a "sore tongue" once and a while.  He has been sleeping a lot and watching lots of Scooby Do.  Here is a picture of him before he went in for surgery.

Hi all,

 

Just because I’m looking forward to it so much, I thought I’d start helping to organize where people are going to stay for Becca’s wedding, June 20th.  I’m thinking the Spring Valley Inn will be the least expensive, has a small indoor pool and a kids’ playground and is close to the wedding.  I’ve attached the web site for the wedding, so check it out.

 

I’ve e-mailed them to see if I can put a block of rooms on my credit card.  Mark and I are going to stay on Friday and Saturday nights.  Then on Sunday I have to fly out to D.C. for a conference.  I think we’ll come home a few days before and stay in Eden.

 

Let me know as soon as you can if you’re interested, and I’ll start counting rooms.
